The Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina recently reopened after the hotel, the former JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa, underwent 18 months of renovations.
Renovations included the addition of 16 new suites to the 40 existing suites, two new pools – one adult-only pool and one for families — a new canoe house, and re-conceptualized restaurants— Fish House, Noe, La Hiki and Waterman Bar & Grill.
The purchase price and renovations were estimated to total some $500 million. Hawaii-based architect Mark de Reus led the design on the project with designer Mary Philpotts, author of “Hawaii: A Sense of Place,” leading the interior design.
As an update to the resort’s customer service options, guests now have access to iPads in their rooms to learn about the resort and activities available and to make reservations.
