Marriott Vacations Worldwide plans to add 190 time-share units to its Ko Olina Beach Club in Hawaii, according to public documents.
The Orlando-based timeshare giant will add these units to its existing 560 units that are already built, bringing its total at the West Oahu property to 750 units.
In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission earlier this year, Marriott Vacations Worldwide (NYSE: VAC), which operates 58 properties with 12,866 vacation ownership units, listed the expansion plan for its Ko Olina property among only a handful of other properties with more units planned.
The company has about 415,000 owners throughout its vacation ownership and residential properties.
Other Hawaii properties it operates include the 232-unit Kauai Beach Club time share and the Kauai Lagoons Grand Residences by Marriott, which lists three units built and Kauai Lagoons Kalanipuu that has 75 units built.
