Ko Olina is preparing to welcome Hōkūleʻa back to the resort as part of their Pae ʻĀina statewide sail, January 29 – February 5. For five decades - Hōkūle’a will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary in March - Hōkūleʻa has inspired the world to reconnect with nature and embrace the responsibility to protect the earth. We are honored they consider Ko Olina an important educational stop on their statewide sail.
PVS, along with several culture- and ʻāina-based organizations, including Kuleana Coral Restoration, DLNR/Dept. of Aquatic Resources, UH West Oʻahu, Aulaniʻs Animal Programs team and the Peace Corps, will be hosting scheduled educational engagements with keiki from area schools during Hōkūleʻaʻs visit.
