The Ko Olina Ohana had the honor of hosting a #WomeninPower event led by Cesalina Gracie, granddaughter of Brazilian jiu-jitsu founder Carlos Gracie Sr. The series of sessions empowered and equipped women and girls in our community with the tools and knowledge needed to set healthy boundaries, show up authentically and defend those boundaries when lines are crossed.
A huge MAHALO to @CesaGracie for dedicating your time to helping us build emotional and mental fortitude through the practice of jiu-jitsu.
Many of our attendees had no idea what to expect, but they walked away with a renewed sense of confidence, identity and self worth!
