Veteran hospitality leader expands oversight of operations, strategy and community engagement
KO OLINA, Hawaiʻi – Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa announced the promotion of Kimberly Leimomi Agas to Executive Director, a newly created role reflecting the continued growth of her leadership and the resort’s impact in Hawaiʻi. Agas, who has served as General Manager for more than a decade, will continue to lead resort operations while also expanding her oversight to include broader strategic initiatives that strengthen Aulani Resort’s connections to the local community and hospitality industry.

“Kimberly leads with integrity, ensuring every decision upholds Disney’s legendary guest service, supports and uplifts Cast Members, and reinforces our deep commitment to Hawaiʻi,” said Bill Diercksen, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Disney Vacation Club. “Her well-deserved promotion reflects the impact she has made at Aulani over the past 15 years, and the confidence we have in her vision for the future.”
With more than 35 years in Hawaiʻi’s tourism industry, Agas leads over 1,700 Cast Members to operate the 832-room resort, making Aulani the largest employer on O‘ahu’s leeward coast. Under her leadership, the resort has focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting local employment by creating meaningful career opportunities for Hawaiʻi residents and expanding programs that foster professional growth and mentorship.
Agas has also championed initiatives that integrate cultural education and environmental responsibility into the guest experience, including conservation and preservation efforts that reflect Aulani’s deep connection to place. Beyond her role at Aulani, Agas serves as Co-Chair of the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority (HTA) Advisory Board of Directors, and Chair of the Branding Committee.
“As Aulani Resort celebrates its 15th anniversary, I am honored to continue the work of leaders before me to thoughtfully and strategically guide the resort into the future, and represent Disney within our broader Hawaiʻi community,” said Kimberly Agas, Executive Director at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. “It’s a privilege to share the beauty, richness and culture of Hawaiʻi, honoring it with care and accuracy, and I look forward to ensuring that Aulani remains a special place for years to come.”
