Full Afternoon of Entertainment, Paniolo-Themed Experiences, and Keiki Activities Announced
KO OLINA, HAWAI‘I—The 10th Annual Ko Olina Children’s Festival returns on Saturday, May 9, 2026, with an exciting lineup of live performances, interactive activities, and a signature sunset screening of Toy Story, celebrating its milestone year. This year’s paniolo-themed festival brings together some of Hawaiʻi’s rising and award-winning musical talent alongside hands-on experiences for keiki and families—all supporting Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women & Children.

Ticket Information:
Tickets are now available for purchase starting at $27.50 for keiki and $40 for adults. Pre-sale adult tickets include event parking ($15 per vehicle value).

Live Performances
The festival will feature live entertainment from:
- Kamahaʻo Haumea-Thronas: Rising musician and ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi practitioner from Kauaʻi, known for his soulful falsetto and commitment to perpetuating traditional mele Hawaiʻi
- Kalaʻe Music (Kalaʻe Parish and Kalenaku): Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award-winning duo delivering high-energy performances blending country, original music, and Hawaiian tradition
Festival Activities (3:00–6:00 p.m.)
Families can enjoy a wide range of interactive experiences, including:
- Face painting
- Mechanical bull rides
- Horse rides and petting zoo
- A Paniolo Challenge Zone and hands-on Working Knots Station hosted by HiClimb
- Instapics Hawaiʻi photo booth
- Keiki crafts hosted by Island Pacific Academy, including: Paper cowboy hats, Yarn-maned horses,Paper flower lei
- Buzz Lightyear-themed activities and Mr. Potato Scavenger Hunt with Kapiʻolani Medical Center
- Keiki ID station
- Build-a-friend by Stuffed with Aloha (additional cost)

Community Impact
Celebrating 10 years of giving, the festival continues its mission of supporting Hawaiʻi’s keiki, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women & Children. Since 2014, the event has raised more than $500,000 to support pediatric care across the state.
