Our Annual Ko Olina Thanksgiving Outreach always lifts our spirits and reminds us how fortunate we are to be a part of this community! Between our morning blessing and distributing meals, we paused for a moment to reflect on how this tradition began 24 years ago, inspired by our capacity and kuleana to take care of one another.
The Ko Olina ʻohana was able to prepare and serve 2,000 holiday meals to families in need along Oʻahu’s Leeward Coast at churches, shelters, beach parks, transitional houses and community facilities.
Ko Olina Charities, a 501 (c) (3) organization, was created to expand community participation and outreach to West Oʻahu residents and is generously supported by contributions from resort operators and residents, public donations and grants from the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation.
